The country of my youth stood tall and strong.
Our country changed, now seems quite strange, it borders disbelief.
And we do nothing, to try to right what’s wrong?
No space between acceptance and to act
in little ways to help delay the rot that’s taken root.
If we don’t, those wrongs we help enact.
