These musings are fruits of frustration
from common sense often ignored.
It seems in this war of cultures –
there’s always one thing more.
♦Four Districts Voted ‘No’
Craving consensus reflects our exhaustion
from endless partisan piffle.
But here is an issue one would think where
consensus would be quite simple.
It’s a security pact with the U.K. and Aussies
because of China’s direction;
it was widely supported and easily passed –
but still there were four defections.
♦Aren’t We Smarter Than the Nabateans?
It’s what the ancients taught in school,
the Nabateans too,
to the sun god you must ……..
♦July 19, 2021 School Board Meeting
Twas the night of the meeting and all through the room
were gathered all passions from excitement to doom.
The sheriffs stood ……..
A process used since ancient times
intended to deceive,
well known to cheats and scalawags ……..
♦Divest the Rest
Invest in Kids in Illinois,
nine thousand students enrolled.
But Powers That Be, became annoyed ………
