Walk for blocks on Market Street, all the stores are closed.
D’oh! – what has happened? Does anyone know?
This part of San Fiasco sadly, has gone straight to pot;
the voters picked their leaders, this is what they got.
The cafes left, The Warfield closed, and Hotel Whitcomb too;
and Chase of course is gone, so is Payless Shoes.
The Village Market took their burgers, and their chicken wings;
and following their tagline, so did Burger King.

Today, as we prepare for our 166th holiday season at 250 Post Street, we fear this may be our last because of the profound erosion of this city’s current conditions … due to destructive and failed public policies.” >>>>
