Whe’r thou bear witness to scallawags and swindlers released
and with that – law further berattled and crime increased;
or dost thou look upon a babbling want-wit thug set free
only to continuate in glee, the unchanged distemper
upon the same younker, where a day hence he began his spree;
or witness contagious blastments of a youngling mob that raids,
no one afraid from effect in absconding with jewels and shoes
and then be righted “Caused not but mobs but by kids with the blues”;
or witness scanted borders that freely welcome – yes the guiltless
but too oft masking felons, rapers, thugs and slaves
and far too many far eastern young men got-aways.
To look upon such shortage of quick mettle, calls to be settled;
this slubbering is but a plan that cannot stand, being the work of the devil.
What ingrafted, ill-divined evil sets its course upon us?
What arrant snollygosters and busky brachs bettle o’er us?
The grumbletons have awak’nd are alarum’d and formed ranks,
they see the grand scheme chalked forth – they are quite quanked.
Willst they be fopp’d and fobb’d by this deadly handed threat?
Or willst they heave the gorge sufficient and ample votes beget?

I didn’t say that,” Johnson barked back. “These large gatherings … it’s important that we speak of these dynamics in an appropriate way.” Hundreds of rioters flooded Chicago’s South Loop late Sunday, when teens took over the area for the second time in just a few days”; Zach Jewell – DailyWire.com – August 3, 2023 – “Large groups of teenagers have gathered in the streets of Chicago multiple times over the summer for coordinated “teen takeovers” that often turn violent — but Mayor Brandon Johnson is concerned about people calling the groups a “mob.”” >>>>
