It’s only four years, just stonewall the time,

Mind not the suffering of those whom you lead,
\nthey’re pawns in the game, confused, distressed,
\nit’s only four years that they’ll bleed.<\/p>\n
From the poor or disabled, those most in need,
\nto our schools and our towns let them twist in the wind,
\nlet them whine, let them cry, let them plead.<\/p>\n
Never mind that for years, we’ve sunk into debt,
\nthat hundreds of thousands of people have left.
\nOur future’s a game of roulette!<\/p>\n
For it’s clear that since this governor came,
\nthings have turned worse, no budget has passed,
