Invest in Kids<\/strong><\/em> in Illinois,
nine thousand students enrolled. 
With public schools still in a mess,
the Powers That Be made it fold. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Powers That Be – they have kids too.
They go to private schools.
No more choice for me and you.  
The Powers That Be set the rules. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who suffers most but those in need,
no escape from failing schools.
With hopes now dashed and no more dreams,  
social injustice is cruel.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Divest the Kids<\/em> <\/strong>in Illinois –
Powers That Be thought that best.  
Their kids excel in private schools –   
so just divest the rest.
