Thirty nine professors at Ol’ ASU,
displayed their furtive intent.
They all signed a letter, that stated it’s better
to cancel a scheduled event.
They just used a Label to state their opinion
that two speakers will only spew Hate.
Is that what they do? Professors of Blue –
their specialty is to conflate?
“We protest – we protest!” cried the Professors,
those best of Ol’ ASU.
But the event still took place – all went just great,
and record attendance ensued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Neverthe-less, the Professors prevailed,
event hosts – they both got sacked.
Profs hid in the weeds, that’s how they succeed,
and ASU’s stature gets whacked.
But there’s two sides – let’s hear them both –
they all should have a debate.
Get professors and admin, and a donor or two;
hear details – that would be great.
Employees and students, let all have their say,
and just keep everything mellow.
Then we’ll decide, who’s got something to hide,
and see if that green light turns yellow.
