Here is a brief recap of 4 different sites with detail on members of Congress. Each site offers a variety of information, each site having advantages and disadvantages. The 4 sites are: congress.gov<\/em>, govtrack.us<\/em>, projects.propublica.org<\/em> and votesmart.org<\/em>.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Visit votesmart.org.<\/strong>  Easy to use.  Track specific votes of members of Congress.   Specific questions? call Vote Smart at 888.868.3762, 8 to 5CT, Mon-Fri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visit projects.propublica.org<\/strong>.  Easy to use.  Best use of Propublica is for comparing voting records between individual members of Congress: copy direct link to your browser – https:\/\/projects.propublica.org\/represent\/members\/compare-votes\/118 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visit govtrack.us\/congress\/members<\/strong>.  Comprehensive.  Enter your zip code to find out who your Representative is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visit congress.gov<\/strong>.  Comprehensive.  Includes members who sponsored\/cosponsored specific bills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Find out which congressional district<\/em><\/strong><\/a> you’re in. Example is Illinois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
