By some definition, we’re all immigrants.
People moving place to place, will be forever more.
New citizens be welcomed, but please acquaint yourselves,
to basics of just who we are, beyond our open door.
Americans hold values, adopt them best you can,
gain a skill, study English … spend some time to learn.
And there’s one important skill, you’ll use in many ways.
For example if you grocery shop, take time to wait your turn.
